How can I find a job as a 16 year old student?

I am 16 and I am a junior in high school. I need a job, and I am a hard worker. I have never worked before because I recently turned 16. I know the obvious way of driving around looking for Now Hiring signs and calling numerous companies untill I find one that is hiring. Is there any other ways to find a job?
