Need some job interview tips? I have never been to one…and I have one soon?
I am going to be interview for AmeriCorps Jumpstart. It’s a program in which college students work personally with little preschoolers and their families to teach them basic skills and English.
I have my very first interview in my life. Usually I am very social and funny but I don’t know what to be prepared for. Any tips? Also, share your mistakes and successes please.

Here is the simple version.
Many people tell you “just be yourself” but you want make sure you show them the best self you can be.
Secondly, you are there to show them that you match the job. Every question is an opportunity to demonstrate to them that you match the job. If they ask “what interests do you have” you don’t say “drinking and playing halo until my hand cramp up” you would say “I play basketball with a local team” but that is not interesting to them you have to add “because we are not exactly good players, but we do our best and work well together, so I enjoy being part of that team”
just relax, every thing will be great.
please do not be late for your interview, and talk about your eduction and how it will benefit these families.
they will try to see if your a good fit for their program, and their Clint’s.
try to read more about the Clint’s background, and their needs.
try to get a reference letters from your professors, church, community center, etc. it will help big time.
