I plan to have an internship with a public accounting firm this next spring, and need some help on my resume. My family owns a couple conveniant stores back home. What are some skills that one can learn from owning or running a business that can translate into the accounting profession? I guess some examples include customer service and quartely sales tax returns.

What are some good bullet points that I can use for my resume?

As a student applying for an internship the most important information whould be in your Education. Elaborate on courses taken, if in the honors program please note as well. Also, if your GPA is on the higher end 3.0 please note this under your education.
If you have achieved Deans list, this info should also be on your resume.
Concerning your experience “yes”; customer service, completing reports in a timely manner, and multi-tasking.

    Best Of Luck
