I live in the east and I would like to move out west.(wyoming, colorado, idaho, maybe alaska) I’d like to find a job and a nice little to medium town to live in. Maybe something in the oil or gas business. How can I go about it?

Might 1st try to narrow down your areas of interest? That is the areas in the states you have in mind.

Then check a map for the larger towns in those locations. And go on line. Most will have online newspapers With help wanted sections. You can also look at their websites. Give you an idea of what the area looks like.

I lived in both Colorado and Wyoming for several years. Both nice places if one is into outdoor activities. In Wyoming-check Rock Springs-Gillete-Casper.Newcastle.. All have extensive Oil and natural gas facilities.

Colorado-check the areas around Glenwood Springs, others in that area. Also Pueblo.

Both are beautiful states, numerous activities for one that likes outdoor activities.
