When you apply for job online…?
When you apply for a job online (like for Wal-Mart, Safeway, etc)…do you need to check in on it? Like I know when I put in an app in person, I check up on it in 2 weeks (right after putting it in) and every week thereafter.
What do you think…should I be checking in on places like Safeway, etc.

Go to the walmart you want to work at and tell them you already applied online, but you’re interested in working here at that store, and blah blah blah. BAM

u should, just like applying in person, but i guarantee u that most of the time they gonna say that they never receive ur app, and want u to apply again, which is a fockn waste of time… i apply online all the time, so far, no fockn lucky, even with referral…
Yes. If you apply online, call them a few days after and ask them if they could tell you what the status of your application is. They will usually take your name down and check on it and hopefully you end up with an interview! =] That’s how I got my job at Borders.
